What is Cash for Clunkers?

The new federal bill that was just passed a few weeks ago is close to becoming a reality at dealerships across the nation such as our store - Rick Hendrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep on Savannah Highway in Charleston, SC. Cash for clunkers allows people that have a vehicle to trade in that is less than 25 years old and they have owned and insured for at least the last year to get a large trade allowance of up to $4500. The program has many specific rules and we are happy to help you determine which vehicles qualify. This is an effort to get better made - more fuel efficient models on the road and salvage the vehicles traded in. You can get either $3500 or $4500.
